Jessica Marie is a writer, builder, and philosopher in the wild, and the author of The Tomorrow We Choose: Why Human Consciousness Decides Our Future in the Age of AI (Houndstooth Press, 2026). She spent nearly fifteen years in enterprise technology, primarily in cybersecurity and SaaS, and authored the industry’s first framework for securing autonomous AI agents.
Jessica Marie has spent over twenty years on a lifelong inquiry through philosophy, psychology, spirituality, and technology. A self-described “recovering marketer,” this “philosopher in the wild” spent nearly fifteen years in enterprise technology, primarily in cybersecurity and SaaS. Her work questions the unseen forces that direct thought and behavior, and the way people experience reality. She believes AI could be one of the most transformative technologies we’ve ever built, and that belief is what drove her to write The Tomorrow We Choose. She is on a mission to help humanity become more conscious of the forces that guide their choices, perceptions, and sense of what’s possible.
Jessica Marie is a writer, builder, and philosopher in the wild whose work questions the unseen forces that direct thought and behavior, and the way people experience reality.
She spent nearly fifteen years in enterprise technology, primarily in cybersecurity and SaaS, across outbound product management, product marketing, and go-to-market strategy. Much of that time was spent alongside zero-to-one founders, and for most of those companies her work meant defining a category and teaching a market how to think about it through provocative perspectives and thought leadership. Several of those companies were later acquired. In AI security, she authored the industry’s first framework for securing autonomous AI agents, and her writing has appeared in Forbes, Dark Reading, TechCrunch, CSO, and ISMG. She has presented at ISC2, ISSA, the SANS Institute, and the ISMG AI Summit.
Through those same years she spent more than a decade in Reichian and somatic work, kept up a lifelong study of philosophy, psychology, and spirituality, and traveled alone to dozens of countries.
Today she advises technology companies on product, positioning, and go-to-market. Her first book, The Tomorrow We Choose: Why Human Consciousness Decides Our Future in the Age of AI, will be published by Houndstooth Press on November 10, 2026.

The Book
A provocative argument that steers the cultural conversation into necessary new territory.
Dystopians think AI will destroy us, utopians think it will save us, and governance advocates think the right regulations will contain it. All three keep their eyes fixed on the machine, and all three tell a story far too small for what human beings are capable of.
The Tomorrow We Choose unpacks a massive, complex psychological shift. It traces how the relationship between humanity and technology inverted, then turns toward the evolutionary leap now within our reach.
Rigorously researched across psychology, economics, computer science, cybersecurity, and philosophy, the book draws on peer-reviewed studies, government records, and the AI industry’s own data to show how we can make that leap across the economy, inside organizations, and within our own minds.

The book I couldn’t put down
The Stranger by Albert Camus. I first read it at thirteen and spent the week after in the deepest state. I couldn’t shake it.
A thinker I’d have dinner with
Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. He imagined a layer of human thought spreading across the planet decades before the internet. I’d want to ask what he makes of AI.
Something people don’t expect
Self-taught classical pianist. Rachmaninoff is my favorite, especially his Prelude in B minor. I love his use of suspended fourth chords.
Workout playlist
90s grunge, mostly. Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, and Guns N’ Roses.
When I’m not writing
I paint large abstracts in a 1920s studio I renovated myself.
Favorite swear word
Depends on the edit. Usually the one that starts with F.
Growing up
Competitive equestrian. Worked my ass off to pay for my lessons. I still miss the quiet of the barns at 5 a.m.
Favorite movie
The Tree of Life, by Terrence Malick.
A quirk
Relative pitch.
